The Evotrex-PG5 is the world’s first power-generating RV trailer. It’s designed to support extended off-grid travel with a fully integrated power ecosystem, advanced towing assist, and a premium residential interior.
It creates its own power. A unified system of 1.5 kW solar, a 43 kWh LFP battery, and Horizon, our ultra-efficient onboard generator, continuously replenishes energy for HVAC, appliances, and onboard systems.
The Evotrex-PG5 Pioneer's GVWR is rated 9,500 lbs and 8,350 lbs dry, while the Evotrex-PG5 Atlas's GVWR is rated 9,900 lbs, and 8,900 lbs dry.
Please refer to your vehicle’s user manual to verify its maximum towing capacity. Evotrex does not provide advice on tow vehicle selection and recommends consulting your vehicle manufacturer or dealer for guidance.
While not intended for extreme rock crawling, the Evotrex-PG5 is built on a high-strength automotive chassis ready for adventure. Featuring air suspension and a dual-axle configuration with 33" all-terrain tires, it is engineered to access off-grid, primitive, or dispersed campsites with confidence, unlocking access to the most epic spots.
Yes. Active Power Assist uses a high-precision hitch sensor and electric motor to provide torque support while towing. Once unhitched, the PG5 can be remotely maneuvered using the included tablet for easy parking.
Each unit includes an integrated tablet running the Evotrex App. You can monitor diagnostics, control lighting and climate, manage power distribution, view exterior cameras, and remotely maneuver the trailer.
The PG5 sleeps four adults comfortably with two residential queen-size beds. This layout features a permanent bed in the main bedroom and a convertible queen in the dinette, ensuring a restful night for everyone.
Yes. The PG5 features a full dry bath with a dedicated shower and toilet, ensuring comfort with a tankless instant water heater. The all-electric kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-burner induction cooktop, convection microwave air fryer, range hood, and a full-size 10 cu. ft. refrigerator.
Yes. The climate control system provides year-round comfort. Waste heat from the generator is repurposed to warm the cabin efficiently in cold weather.
Located at the rear, Terrece is a motorized multi-functional deck. With a single button press, the tailgate lowers to create a 43 sq. ft. indoor–outdoor patio, perfect for taking in the view. Above, the inner hatch extends outward to provide instant shade and comfort. For added utility, the deck transforms into a sturdy ramp—simply retract the support jacks to lower the angle for effortless loading and unloading of your gear.
Yes. Adjustable air suspension allows you to lower the trailer for highway efficiency or raise it for additional ground clearance.
Yes, a 2-inch rear accessory receiver is included.
The Evotrex-PG5 Pioneer starts from $119,990 and comes standard with a 43 kWh battery, Active Power Assist, and the Horizon generator. Stepping up to the Atlas—our fully loaded flagship trim priced at $159,990—adds all available options, including integrated solar, a power awning, the Terrece, a dynamic skylight, a premium interior, forged wheels, and more.
Following its launch at CES 2026, the PG5 is touring various events this year. Additionally, preorder holders will be invited regularly to experience the trailer in person at our headquarters in the City of Industry, CA.
Power
It’s a power-generating trailer that operates primarily on electric energy, supported by Horizon, an efficient gas-powered generator that automatically recharges the battery when needed.
A 43 kWh automotive-grade LFP battery pack is selected for safety, longevity, and thermal stability.
The PG5 actively generates energy using Horizon, solar panels, and regenerative braking while towing. Horizon automatically engages when the battery is low, keeping the system powered wherever you are.
Horizon is an automotive-grade, fully integrated, high-efficiency generator with its own fuel tank. It automatically recharges the battery pack while towing or parked, generating up to 225 kWh of power on a full tank.
Active Power Assist allows the PG5 to minimize towing drag and extend driving range by utilizing a high-precision hitch sensor and electric motor for torque support. This assistance benefits customers across all vehicle types, from traditional ICE (gas-powered) vehicles to diesel and fully electric ones. When you arrive, simply unhitch and use the included tablet to remotely park the PG5 into the perfect spot.
- It uses an automotive-grade engine running at optimized RPMs, producing up to 11.25 kWh per gallon, nearly double the efficiency of common portable generators, while operating more quietly.
- The PG5 is able to use waste heat from Horizon to efficiently warm the cabin when temperatures drop.
- Additionally, it's fully integrated into the PG5 for a seamless user experience.
- Unlike a standard RV generator that only provides power while it’s running, the Horizon generates energy that’s stored in a 43 kWh LFP battery—so you have quiet, reliable power on demand, without needing the generator running at the same time.
Many users can stay unplugged for a week or more with daily HVAC and appliance use. Use our Off-Grid Calculator to see personalized estimates based on your travel style and preferences.

You can charge it via NACS, 110V or 240V outlets, solar, regenerative towing, and Horizon. The system manages power automatically.
Yes. The Evotrex-PG5 is designed as a comprehensive power solution:
- V2L: Plug in laptops, coffee makers, cooking appliances, or power tools directly to the PG5's internal and external outlets.
- V2H: In the event of a blackout, the PG5 can be used as your home energy backup generator.
- V2V: The Evotrex-PG5 features a 12kW NEMA 14-50 outlet for power export, allowing you to charge electric vehicles directly at up to 6.6 kW. For significantly faster energy transfer, the optional RangeBoost feature boosts output to 60 kW through an NACS port at the front of the trailer, effectively turning your trailer into a mobile supercharger.
