Premium RV engineering, from the chassis to the battery chemistry
A premium RV should be defined by what is underneath the finishes. Plenty of trailers look high end on the showroom floor and reveal their real build quality two winters later. The materials, the chassis, and the safety engineering are where premium either exists or it does not.
The Evotrex-PG5 was designed, engineered, and validated to automotive standards rather than traditional RV construction norms. This page covers what that actually means, layer by layer.

A high-strength automotive-grade steel chassis
The foundation of the PG5 is a high-strength automotive-grade steel chassis in a dual-axle configuration. It is engineered for impact resistance, long-lasting corrosion protection, and long-term structural integrity, the same priorities an automaker brings to a vehicle frame.
On top of that frame sit automotive air suspension and 33" all-terrain tires on 265/70 R18 wheels. The suspension is adjustable, so you can lower the trailer for highway efficiency or raise it for ground clearance on rough approaches.
Zero-wood construction that cannot rot
Traditional RV walls hide wood framing, and wood is where water damage starts. The PG5 uses a multi-layer fiberglass composite shell with zero wood components. There is no material in the walls that can rot, warp, or decay, even in harsh, wet conditions.
The shell is fully insulated for thermal efficiency, completely waterproof, and corrosion resistant. It is also lighter than traditional RV wall construction, which is one of the ways an engineering-first build spends its weight where it counts, on structure, insulation, and energy capacity.
An ultra-safe LFP battery engineered like an EV pack
The heart of any modern high end RV is its battery, and chemistry is a safety decision. The PG5 carries a 43 kWh lithium iron phosphate pack engineered to meet the most stringent standards used in the electric vehicle industry. LFP chemistry delivered no fire in puncture or crash tests, and the pack performs from -22°F to 140°F.
That pack anchors a larger system. Paired with 1.5 kW of integrated rooftop solar and a quiet automotive-grade gasoline generator, it delivers 270+ kWh of usable energy per cycle as one smart integrated system. The generator itself runs an automotive-grade engine at optimized RPMs, producing about 11.25 kWh per gallon, up to 50% more usable energy per gallon than typical RV generators.
Proven components, engineered as one platform
Premium engineering shows up in the parts you never think about. The PG5's electric motor, battery, braking system, and air suspension are automotive-grade components proven over millions of units, vibration resistant and long-life rated.
TowSync™ adaptive tow assist ties the platform together on the road. Using an onboard electric motor and a high-precision force sensor, it continuously adapts to road conditions and syncs with your tow vehicle, with advanced stability control and triple-redundant braking. It is designed for electric, gas, and diesel trucks alike, and it makes a substantial trailer feel planted and predictable at speed.

Frequently asked questions
What separates a premium RV from a standard one?
Materials and engineering discipline. The PG5 pairs a high-strength automotive-grade steel chassis with a zero-wood composite shell and automotive-grade components proven over millions of units, then validates the whole platform to automotive standards.
Why does zero-wood construction matter in a premium trailer?
Wood framing is the failure point in most RV water damage. A zero-wood shell cannot rot, warp, or decay, so the structure holds its integrity through wet seasons and hard use.
Is LFP battery chemistry safer than other lithium batteries?
LFP is chosen for exactly that reason. The PG5's 43 kWh pack is engineered to the standards used in the electric vehicle industry and showed no fire in puncture or crash tests, with reliable performance from -22°F to 140°F.
Is the PG5 a premium motorhome?
No. It is a premium trailer that you tow. TowSync™ adaptive tow assist uses an onboard electric motor and a high-precision force sensor to keep towing stable and efficient behind electric, gas, and diesel trucks.
Premium is a claim you verify in the materials list. The PG5's holds up. Preorder the Evotrex-PG5. From $119,990.
